Auronzo di Cadore (Monte Agudo)

The Auronzo di Cadore – Monte Agudo resort is located in the Italian province of Belluno regione Veneto. There are 7 km of trails for skiing and snowboarding. 4 lifts transport skiers. The winter sports complex is located between 865 and 1534 meters above sea level.

The Valle dell’Ansiei is located on the shores of the artificial lake Santa Caterina. It stretches from the southern slopes of Mount Ayarnola and is dotted with many picturesque villages, including the famous Misurina. It is easily accessible from the south via the A27 Venezia – Belluno motorway and from the north / northwest via the Tre Croci pass from Cortina, as well as from Val Pusteria, rising from Carbonen, and from Comelico via Passo di San Antonio.

Auronzo Ski Resort is located 2 km from the town of Rune and can be reached by ski bus. Its 7 ski slopes (and others under construction) have artificial snowmaking, they are wide and well-groomed. The 13 km of trails that wind through Monte Agudo are included in the Dolomiti Superski shared ski pass.

Those looking for a relaxing holiday can take advantage of a small ski resort, its low prices, less congestion of lifts, an educational trail equipped with a lift for children, and an overall family atmosphere of warm hospitality. For cross-country skiers, there are 4 rings with a total length of 30 km, of which 20 km (3 rings) are always open, and the remaining 10 km (1 ring) only with sufficient snow. Cross-country skiing trails are included in Dolomiti NordicSki and are located in Palus San Marco, in the Somadida forest, the largest in Cador.

Auronzo is surrounded by magnificent mountains such as Tre Cime di Lavaredo, Cadini, Croda dei Toni, Corno del Doge, these regions are a real paradise for climbers and lovers of ski mountaineering.

In addition to skiing, snow lovers can go on a snowshoe excursion, sleigh rides, snowmobiles or try go-karting on ice even at night. The Marmarola Sled Dog Center offers courses to learn how to drive and ride sled dogs, while the indoor skating rink of Auronzo offers ice skating, hockey and figure skating shows or playing broomball.
