The Sulden am Ortler (Solda all’Ortles) resort is located in the Italian Ortlergebiet (Ortles in Val Venosta) (Trentino-Alto Adige, Alto Adige, Val Venosta region). There are 44 km of trails for skiing and snowboarding. 10 lifts transport skiers to them. The complex for practicing winter sports is located between 1900 and 3250 meters above sea level.

The snow-covered slopes of the ski resort of Solda can be reached by modern ski lifts without queues and long waiting times. The cleanest air, the fantastic world of alpine landscapes and glaciers at the foot of Ortler (height 3905 m) irresistibly attracts skiers and snowboarders to try all the trails. Anyone who once came here comes back again and again. In addition to excellent skiing in perfect snow, the resort’s strengths include reasonable prices, delicious locally sourced cuisine, many offers and discounts for families, as well as a fun snow park and night skiing on illuminated trails.

Total length of tracks 44 km. The vertical drop is 1350 meters. The surface of most of the slopes of the ski complex is maintained in perfect condition with the help of snow-sealing equipment. The resort has a snowmaking system. There is lighting in the dark, which is a big plus, as you can ride even after it gets dark. Insecure beginners will be assisted by instructors, and at the rental point you can take everything you need for a comfortable ride.

The ski resort, with its three slopes, offers a wide variety of slopes. Wide carving slopes, long runs through the forest, light slopes and several super-long ski runs will satisfy skiers of all skill levels. The three ski areas of Langenstein, Pulpito and Punta Beltovo di Dentro are connected to each other by connecting pistes or downhill pistes.

From any ski area, long tracks of varying difficulty levels lead down into the valley. From the Langenstein ski lift, a “red” descent leads to the cable car station in the valley. Two roller ski trails start from it. Blue-black slopes lead from the top to the valley. Only the descent into the valley of the Punta Beltovo di Dentro area is classified as “black” and is not recommended for beginners, even if the descent is not particularly steep.

Vacationers are taken to the top 13 cable cars: 2 aerial tramway, 1 gondola lift, 6 chairlift and 1 t-bar lift. There are 3 children’s lifts for beginners and children. The total length of the cable cars is 114 km, which are capable of transporting up to 15418 passengers/hour.

In Solde, skiers can use the convenient lifts to move around the ski area. In the Punta Beltovo di Dentro area, there are two gondola cable cars and three chair lifts, two of which have protective domes. On the Pulpito, the 10-seater Rosim cable car rises to an altitude of 2450 m, and there is also a 2-seater chairlift. Langenstein has two fixed grip chairlifts that take skiers to the slopes. The two beginner slopes in the valley are served by a drag and an indoor jogging track.
