The San Martino di Castrozza resort is located in the town of the same name, San Martino di Castrozza, as well as Passo Rolle/Primiero/Vanoi (Italy, Trentino-Alto Adige, Trentino region). For skiing and snowboarding, 60 km of slopes are open, to which skiers are lifted by 21 lifts. The area for winter sports is located at an altitude of 1404-2357 meters above sea level.

San Martino di Castrozza is located in the middle of the fabulous landscape of the Dolomites. The unforgettable view of the Palais di San Martino and the traditional hospitality of this place make a winter holiday here unique and inimitable. The slopes are well prepared and covered with snow, they offer a variety of slopes of all difficulty levels, allowing both skiers and snowboarders to enjoy wonderful skiing. As mentioned above, the slopes of the resort are designed for different levels of training. They are mostly of medium difficulty. Since part of the ski area is located high in the mountains, a special thank you for their excellent preparation. From the beginning of the descent of Punta Ces, from the summit and the surroundings of Mount Tognola, during the descent, skiers enjoy an unimaginable panoramic view of the Pale mountain range. The resort also takes special care of the snowboarders. Those who do not consider themselves to be “expert” have a great time riding the trails of Malga Ces, Alpe Tognola e Col Verde and others, many of which are interconnected. The main part of the slopes is laid through coniferous forests.

Total length of tracks 60 km. The vertical drop is 953 meters. The surface of the tracks is maintained in good condition with the help of snow-sealing equipment. The resort has snow cannons. In total, the resort has 150 snow cannons that cover 95% of the slopes. In the evening, the trails are illuminated. Beginners and children can take advantage of the special training slope.

On the tops of the slopes, skiers and snowboarders are delivered 23 cable cars: 1 aerial tramway, 3 gondola lift, 13 chairlift and 4 t-bar lift. There are 2 children’s lifts for beginners and children. The total length of the cable cars is 215 km, which are capable of transporting up to 30652 passengers/hour.

In the ski area of San Martino di Castrozza, chair lifts are mainly operating. From the towns of Fratazza and San Martino di Castrozza, there are gondola lifts that take you to the other ski resort of Tognola. The eight-person gondola lift departs from the city center and climbs the Col Verde. Tourists (without skis) climb the most beautiful peak of Rosetta mountain by cable car. Some ski lifts offer discounts for beginner athletes.
