Peyo Resort is great for learners. It can also be recommended for families with children: experienced riders will spend time on the “red” and “black” slopes available at the resort, while beginners will be able to master skiing and snowboarding on the “blue” slopes. The trails in Peyo are wide and flat, which makes skiing very comfortable.

The new Pejo 3000 gondola takes athletes and tourists to the top of the mountain. Thanks to this lift, it was possible to extend the “red” track Val della Mite, which runs along the very ridge against the backdrop of breathtaking landscapes. The total length of the “red” slope from the very top to the bottom station exceeds 5 kilometers.

At the ski resort of Peyo, you do not need to be well oriented in the terrain and it is difficult to agree on a meeting point. If you warm up on the slopes, all trails and lifts will lead to the same site in Peyo Terme.

In addition to the prepared trails, Peyo has slopes suitable for off-piste skiing. Including the only “black” track Free Ride delle Gole with a length of 2250 meters with a vertical drop of 600 meters passes through virgin soil. Interestingly, there is an easy, “blue” freeride track in Peyo – but now it descends to the Peyo-Paese area, from where it is impossible to climb the mountains again by the lift, you will have to return to Peyo Terme by bus or taxi.

At the very top of the mountain, at an altitude of 3535 meters, there is the Rifugio Vioz restaurant, where you can have a snack during a skating day or have an excellent dinner with traditional cuisine. Nearby is the tiny chapel of St. Bernard, built in 1948 and the highest in Europe.

In addition to downhill skiing and snowboarding, Peio Resort in winter offers hiking trails, snowshoeing on virgin soil, ice skating, relaxing in the largest and most modern thermal complex, as well as excursions to the Stelvio National Park – the largest in Italian Alps.
