The Monte Bondone resort is located in the mountainous region of Italy Trento/Monte Bondone/Valle di Laghi/Valle dell’Adige (Trentino-Alto Adige region, Trentino). For skiing and snowboarding, there are 21 km of ski slopes. 4 lifts transport skiers to them. The winter sports complex is located between 1189 and 2090 meters above sea level.
Monte Bondone is the oldest and most unique resort in Italy. It is famous for the fact that the first ski lift in Europe was built here. Compared to other resorts in the Dolomites, it is a compact, calm and cozy region with 21 km of groomed trails.
Thanks to the change and modernization of the resort, the city lives in synergy with it. Here you can relax, unwind and have a good time in addition to skiing.
The resort is designed for an average level of skiing, both for skiers and snowboarders – the slopes with an average degree of difficulty prevail, which are concentrated along the slopes of Palon and Montesel. At the same time, novice alpine skiing fans will be able to learn and calmly ride on the wide blue slopes. There are also a couple of slopes for the pros. The largest and most picturesque trail, Gran pista, runs along pine forests, birch groves, alpine meadows and the Rocce Rosse cable car. On it in just 7 minutes you overcome 809 meters of height and descend with a breeze into the Valthornensch valley.
If you purchase a single ski pass to the Dolomiti di Brenta region, you can ride at 8 resorts that are located in one valley and in total make up 380 km of various trails from the most extreme to light ones and use 150 lifts. Conveniently, the resorts are compactly located among themselves.
In Monte Bondone, as in other regions, cultural events and sporting events are held: the international bicycle race named after Fondation Charles Gaulle, Italy’s famous and spectacular rally on the Trento – Bondone route on the Viote plateau. Families with children will be able to attend various creative workshops, as well as visit the beautiful city of Trento.
