Monte Baldo (Malcesine/Pra Alpesina)

The Monte Baldo Resort – Malcesine/Prà Alpesina is located in the Italian mountainous areas of Rovereto/Vallagarina/Altopiano di Brentonico in the Trentino-Alto Adige, Trentino region. There are 10 km of slopes for skiing and snowboarding. 6 lifts transport skiers. The winter sports complex is located between 1446 and 1837 meters above sea level.

The ski and tourist resort of Monte Baldo – Pra Alpesina is located above Lake Garda on the border between Veneto and Trentino. Due to its location and panorama, it is definitely better known in summer than in winter, however, when there is snow, its area (connected by ski bus to the slopes of La Polsa – San Valentino) offers very interesting slopes and, above all, off-piste skiing.

A lift with futuristic rotating cabins takes you to the ski and snowboard slopes in Prà Alpesina in a few minutes. A new four-seater chairlift takes you to the black track, approved for all types of competitions, including international ones. Less experienced skiers can choose between the two “red” slopes that connect to the valley, or head to another “red” one called Pozza della Stella. Those who want to diversify their skiing can take the shuttle bus and get to the Brentonico area with its resorts of San Valentino and Polsoy.

Board lovers have the opportunity to try their hand at Baldo Snowpark, while beginners and kids can learn to ski at the Donald Duck Training Ground.

For cross-country skiers, San Giacomo has a center that offers training and 2 light tracks with natural snow 4 km long, as well as night skiing on the Girardelli slope. There are plans to build a multifunctional sports center here, lengthen the tracks and equip them with artificial snowmaking systems by 100%.
