The Catinaccio/Ciampedie resort – Vigo di Fassa/Pera di Fassa is located in the Italian region of Val di Fassa, Trentino-Alto Adige, Trentino. There are 13.8 km of trails for skiing and snowboarding. 6 ski lifts transport skiers. The winter sports complex is located between 1329 and 2040 meters above sea level.

The Ciampedie Resort is set on a terrace overlooking the Dolomites from the Valle di Fassa. From its 2000 meters in height, the group of rocky mountains Catinaccio, also known as Rosengarten – “Rose Garden”, you can see the peaks of Sassolungo, Sella, Marmolada, Sasso Vernale, the Costabella mountain range, Buffaure, Monzoni e Vallaccia, and in the distance the Latemar mountain ranges, Pale di San Martino and Lagorai.

There are more than 13 km of ski slopes in the combined ski area, with a gondola lift from Vigo di Fassa and a 2-seater chairlift from Pera di Fassa. The ski area has everything you need, especially for families. There is a large Baby Park where children can be entrusted with the ski school at Vigo Di Fassa, which organizes courses at the Tananai Mini Club. An interesting terrain and difficult descent Thoeni with a length of 4.5 km leads from Ciampedie to Vigo di Fassa. The most demanding skiers can challenge themselves on the black slope (pista nera), dedicated to the famous Alberto Tomba, chosen as the best skier of the century. The great champion has trained for many years at Ciampedia to the delight of many skiers and his fans.
