The Usséglio – Pian Benot resort is located in the Italian province of Turin in the Piemonte region (provincia di Torino regione Piemonte). There are 5.4 km of pistes for skiing and snowboarding. 3 lifts transport skiers. The winter sports complex is located between 1618 and 2040 meters above sea level.
The village of Ussello is located on a plateau at the end of the Valle di Vio, the southernmost of Lanzo’s three valleys.
The ski area is equipped with three lifts that climb Mount Pian Benot and serve 3 “blue” and one “red-black” ski slopes. The latter has a length of 1050 meters and drops from 2040 to 1618 meters. During the descent along it, beautiful views of the surrounding peaks, which rise above 3500 meters, open: Monte Lera, the Red Cross in the north, Punta Lunella in the south, Rocchamelone in the southwest. All slopes are equipped with artificial snowmaking systems.
On a wide plateau in the lower part of the valley, there is an 11-kilometer cross-country ski loop (2 km blue, 8 km red, 1 km difficult), which connects various gently sloping villages, forests and pastures.
From February to March, the “Snow Festival” takes place in Ussello, during which a walk on snowshoes along the 6 km trail to the village of Perinera is organized.
Snowpark “Buduynya” attracts snowboarders. In the center of the village, an ice rink offers natural ice for ice skating.
