The Saint-Greux ski resort is located in the upper valley of Mongia in the municipality of Viola in the village of Saint-Gre, on the border between Piedmont and Liguria.
The slopes at the foot of Mount Mindino and around the city overlook Bric Mindino (1879 m), Rocca dei Corvi (900 m), Monte Antoroto (2144 m) and Monte Galero (1708 m).
Famous since the seventies, the resort hosted the Italian Alpine Ski Championships in 1981 and today is equipped with three modern lifts: a chairlift and two moving lanes.
Despite its modest size, Saint-Greu is very popular, and this is not surprising: it has everything to spend a wonderful active weekend or “white” vacation. Its tracks are varied; from simple to medium “reds” and even truly complex “black”. For snowboarders, skiing is provided off-piste and in the snow park. For those looking for real privacy and a “slow” experience, there are three snowshoe routes:
- Saint-Gre – Brick Ney
- Saint-Gre – Prato Rotondo
- Saint-Gre – Brick Mindino
In the rental and sale of equipment, you can rent everything you need for winter sports at competitive prices: skis, snowshoes, boards, bobsleighs, sledges, snowshoes, ski and board boots, ski helmets.
The ski resort is equipped with a modern synthetic ice rink with an area of over 700 square meters, which allows both beginners and experts to skate throughout the season.
Synthetic ice rinks have the ideal surface for ice skating (sports, games) and offer the user an optimal sliding experience. In addition, being environmentally friendly, it does not require electricity, unlike artificial ice rinks, which can consume more than 2000 kWh per day (equivalent to 300 apartments).
Ski school Viola St. Greé and its highly professional instructors offer training and professional development courses for everyone.
