The San Domenico – Alpe Ciamporino resort is located in the Italian province of Verbano-Cusio-Ossola region of Piemonte (Provincia del Verbano-Cusio-Ossola regione Piemonte). San Domenico is a quiet ski resort in the heart of the Piedmont Lepontine Alps; it is located on a plateau between mountain slopes bordering the Kairaska Valley, in the Ossola Valley.
Here you can ski between the village of San Domenico at an altitude of 1420 meters and the village of Dosso at an altitude of 2550 meters, on 32 km of ski slopes; the futuristic hexaposto Bondolero chair lift with swivel seats, the Ciamporino Dosso four-seater indoor chair lift, the stationary school camp chair lift, the multi-storey car park at the start of the climb, the geographical location of the slopes, the mild climate and frequent snowfalls are important benefits of a resort to return to.
At the foot of Mount Salarioli, there is the Sando Snow Park, where you can practice jumping and other freestyle figures, freeride in a specially designated area, walk along the snow-covered paths on snowshoes.
