The Riserva Bianca – Limone Piemonte resort is located in the Italian province of Cuneo in the Piemonte region (provincia di Cuneo regione Piemonte). For skiing and snowboarding, there are 80 km of ski slopes. 17 lifts transport skiers on them. The winter sports complex is located between 1046 and 2060 meters above sea level.

Riserva Bianca is a ski resort located between Piedmont and Liguria, a stone’s throw from the sea and the magnificent Langhe hills. This is an old ski resort in the Southwestern Alps, which, since the beginning of the 19th century, has been pleasing its visitors with a variety of slopes and a developed tourist infrastructure. This amazing place is located at the junction of the borders of Italy and France and combines the cultures of both countries. The resort has many nature reserves and parks, ideal for trekking, horseback riding and hiking. The hilly landscapes of the Alpes-Maritimes, large lakes, many ancient castles at the foot of the mountain make the resort amazingly beautiful both in winter and in other seasons.

Amazing slopes of the “White Reserve” have about 80 km of tracks of various types and difficulty. Therefore, Limone Piemonte is very popular among family lovers. The resort has 40 slopes with different slope levels. Of these, 26 red slopes are ideal for experienced skiers and will not let them get bored in the valley of the Colle di Tenda pass.

On the “blue” slopes of medium difficulty, visitors have the opportunity to enjoy a fairly high speed. But, since there are no sharp turns and elevation changes on these routes, travel along these sections is calm and pleasant, and due to their length, these routes provide an opportunity to fully enjoy the picturesque beauty of the southwestern Alps.

For professionals there are “black” slopes with sharp turns and elevation changes. All tracks are laid around three ridges. The central one, Limone, has a height of 1400 meters and lies between two higher ones. There is also a children’s park and a ski school with a special gentle slope where any beginner skier can improve their skills.

The vertical drop is 1014 meters. The preparation of the slopes is carried out with the help of special snow groomers of snow groomers. The excellent quality of the slopes is ensured by the artificial snowmaking system. Artificial lighting works in the evening. For beginners, training in skiing and snowboarding with professional instructors is organized.

Vacationers are taken to the top 17 cable cars: 1 gondola lift, 11 chairlift and 2 t-bar lift. There are 3 children’s lifts for beginners and children. The total length of the cable cars is 165 km, which are capable of transporting up to 21355 passengers/hour.

Infrastructure

The developed infrastructure of Limone Piemonte will not let its guests get bored. After skiing, tourists can relax in local alpine restaurants – there are many similar establishments right next to the slopes.

For those who like to pamper themselves with fine Italian wines, the commune has built special bars with wines of its own production, such as Barolo and Barbaresco.
