The Pragelato resort is located in the Italian Val Chisone (Piemonte region, Torino). There are 50 km of trails for skiing and snowboarding. 5 lifts transport skiers on them. The winter sports complex is located between 1335 and 2700 meters above sea level.

The Pragelato resort is named after a municipality in the province of Turin in the Piedmont region, located 70 km west of Turin. The village got its name Pragelato, or “ice meadow” because of the severity of the local climate, for every year for a long period the land here is covered with ice.

A small village of only about 600 inhabitants, Pragelato has gone down in history as the venue for the 2006 Winter Olympics in Ski Jumping and Cross-Country Skiing.

Today Pragelato is part of the Via Lattea ski area, the largest unified area in Italy, and is connected to it by the Pattemouche-Anfiteatro cable car. Pragelato’s own home ski area, just 50 km away, is great for beginners and children.

It is possible to purchase several different ski passes at the resort – for your ski area and for the single ski area Via Lattea, which offers 400 km of slopes of varying difficulty.

In Pragelato, everything is thought out for a comfortable stay – there are toboggan runs for freestyle lovers, a snow park is equipped, cross-country skiing lovers can ride on the Olympic track, snowshoeing, snowbiking and much more. The unusual terrain of the slopes provides excellent opportunities for freeriding.

The excellent infrastructure of the resort will allow you to choose accommodation to your liking, enjoy the delicacies of local cuisine, sit with a glass of wine in the restaurant.

Your visit to the Olympic sites will remain in your memory for a long time.
