The Piana di Vigezzo – Craveggia/Santa Maria Maggiore Resort is located in Italy, Provincia del Verbano-Cusio-Ossola, Piemonte region. There are 19 km of trails for skiing and snowboarding. 5 lifts transport skiers on them. The winter sports complex is located between 1180 and 2064 meters above sea level.
Thanks to the modern 8-seater gondola cable car, which starts from the town of Craveggia, in just 10 minutes you can reach the Piana di Viggezzo ski lift at an altitude of 1726 meters.
20 km of various trails, many of which pass through magical forests of pine and larch trees. Eight tracks of medium difficulty, there are also two “black” tracks for real pros. Giant and special slalom can be practiced on the Trubio and Frashella slopes, subject to a national permit.
For those looking to learn how to ski or improve their skills, there is a recognized ski school.
But the resort will also have a great time for those who do not know how to ride or do not like skiing: there are toboggan runs, snowshoeing, tobogganing, bobsleigh. A sunbathing area is provided.
