Caldirola (Monte Gropa)

The Presolana resort is located in the Italian province of Bergamo in the Lombardy region (provincia di Bergamo regione Lombardia). There are 5 km of trails for skiing and snowboarding. 4 lifts transport skiers. The winter sports complex is located between 1200 and 1630 meters above sea level.

Presolana, with its 2,521 meters above sea level, is a Prealp mountain range in the province of Bergamo, located between the Val Seriana and the Scalve. Here, at an altitude of 1200-1630 meters, in one of the most picturesque corners of Orobi, is the resort of the same name. A single ski pass allows you to use the Presolana and Monte Pora lifts, even if their slopes are not connected with each other. Both resorts are located in the municipality of Castion della Presolana.

There are 9 ski slopes in the Doniko area of ​​Presolana, suitable for both beginners and more experienced ones. The first center in Lombardy was opened here to teach skiing for people with disabilities.

For lovers of cross-country skiing, a 6-kilometer trail in the form of a Presolana-Varena loop has been laid. In summer, a 700 m long bobsleigh track is open.

Presolana still retains its “rural charm”: huts, alpine shelters (7 + 1 bivouac), the romantic Valle dei Mulini, the ancient Via del Latte, an environment where silence reigns.
