Alpe Devero (Baceno)

The Alpe Devero – Baceno resort is located in the Italian mountainous region of Val d’Ossola of the Piemonte region (Val d’Ossola regione Piemonte, Verbano-Cusio-Ossola). There are 8 km of slopes for skiing and snowboarding. 3 lifts transport skiers. The winter sports complex is located between 1640 and 2240 meters above sea level.

Alpe Devero is an ideal destination for ski lovers: from children to adults, from beginners to the most experienced, the resort offers everyone the opportunity to have fun thanks to the slopes of easy to medium difficulty.

Alpe Devero is also the undisputed area of ​​freeride and off-piste skiing, which can be practiced in complete safety in the Misanco Valley, among the larch forests.

In the Alpe Devero ski resort there are 3 lifts that will take you from a height of 1640 meters from the Devereaux plain to 2240 meters to the start of the slopes from the top of Monte Cazzola, the total difference in altitude is 600 meters. (cars can be left in the parking lot, and the ski lifts can be reached on foot, the cost of parking is reimbursed when buying a day ski pass). The training track as well as the bobsleigh track are located at the lower station.

And for those who prefer cross-country skiing, a 6-kilometer loop has been laid through an unusually beautiful area, near ancient stone huts and pastures with domestic animals.

There are also paved trails for snowshoes, and not only along the plain, but also at a height. They can be used to reach points with stunning views. It is no coincidence that this resort serves as a meeting point for numerous tourists who go on excursions and go in for ski mountaineering.
