The Spiazzi di Gromo resort is located in the Italian province of Bergamo in the Lombardy region (provincia Bergamo regione Lombardia). There are 15 km of trails for skiing and snowboarding. 4 lifts transport skiers. The winter sports complex is located between 1156 and 1705 meters above sea level.

Gromo is a small town in the Val Seriana valley, located on a rocky promontory, with houses grouped around the Guinami castle. The lifts of the Spiazzi di Gromo ski area leave from the Spiazzi area, the upper part of the village that allows skiers to reach Piani di Vodala from the valley, located at an altitude of 1,700 meters between the Timogno and Redondo mountains in the heart of the Orobi Natural Park in the foothills of the Alps. Chair lifts serve the downhill skiing slopes, which range from 1200 to 1718 meters. Given the steep slope of Monte Redondo, the slopes of the ski area are suitable for intermediate skiers; there are also homologated tracks for national and international competitions. For beginners, there is a training slope with a treadmill and several blue runs, and for children there is a bobsleigh and toboggan run. A programmed snowmaking system covers 80% of the slopes.

Lovers of ski mountaineering will find marked trails leading to Monte Timogno (2099 m) and Colle Vaccarica (1718 m). In March, there is a competition dedicated to the Timogno Ski Raid – an individual race in the classic ski-mountaineering technique for a distance of about 18 km with an altitude difference of about 1800 meters, which starts on the Spiazzi di Gromo running track and ends at the Vodala refuge. And all this with six ascents and five descents and a pedestrian crossing to the Benfit Ridge. In addition, on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from 12:00 to 19:00, the slopes and lifts are open for climbers and snowshoeing hikers to the Vodala shelter.

The resort offer is complemented by three 7.5 km cross-country skiing rings of medium difficulty in Spiazzi.

For years there has been talk of creating a ski center in Orobic Prealps, connecting Spiaoi, Lizzola and Colere.
