Santa Caterina Valfurva Resort is located near the Italian town of Valfurva (Lombardia, Valtellina, Alta Valtellina region). There are 20.5 km of trails for skiing and snowboarding. 6 lifts transport skiers to them. The winter sports complex is located between 1722 and 2880 meters above sea level.
Santa Caterina Valfurva at an altitude of 1738 meters is surrounded on all sides by the peaks of the Ortles-Cevedale mountain range and is located in the heart of the Stelvio National Park, the very name which is synonymous with the purest nature, snow and high peaks.
All slopes of the resort, from simple to difficult, are maintained in excellent condition. The favorable climate and the artificial snow system guarantee skiing from November to April.
The ski mountaineering area of the Ortles Cevedale group, to which Santa Caterina Valfurva belongs, is undoubtedly the largest in Europe. Alpine guides and ski instructors will accompany guests, advise on how to navigate the glaciers safely and convey the special atmosphere of the mountains to be able to experience it as the protagonists.

Total length of tracks 20.5 km. The vertical drop is 1158 meters. The slopes are kept in good condition by snowmobiles and the efforts of the ski resort staff. Artificial snowmaking systems work. The tracks are illuminated, which makes it possible to use them in the evening. For beginners, a special training slope is equipped – smooth and wide.
For cross-country skiers, Santa Caterina offers trails in a truly fabulous area. The Valtellina trail, which often hosts competitions in this sport, runs through a wide plain and dense forest and is characterized by rings of 5 and 8 km, ascents and descents from 190 to 390 m. This trail also features original and revolutionary technical solutions. Next to the competition track, there is a partially coinciding tourist track with rings from 1.5 – 2.00 – 3.00 – 5.00 – 8.00 km.
