The Pescegallo – Valgerola resort is located in the Italian mountainous Valtellina region of the Lombardia region (Valtellina, regione Lombardia). There are 9.6 km of trails for skiing and snowboarding. 2 ski lifts transport skiers. The winter sports complex is located between 1450 and 2000 meters above sea level.
Valgerola is a wild valley south of Morbegno, in the Valteline region, stretching towards the Bergama Alps. In a valley at 1400 meters above sea level in the Peshegallo area there is a small ski area with 10 km of ski slopes, served by a chairlift and a moving walk.
The Peshegallo double chairlift serves the most challenging slopes between 1450 and 1850 meters above sea level. Near the upper station of the main lift, there is a short one for beginners, which allows you to climb to a height of 2000 meters. Due to the altitude, favorable location and snow coverage of the Orobi Alps, the snow cover is excellent and is also supported by the artificial snow system.
Valgerola is especially suitable for those looking to ski and take their first steps on the snow without facing the high costs of a large ski resort or distracting from too many skiers.
There are countless intermediate routes for ski mountaineering, such as the Pizzo dei Tre Signori (2554 m) or Monte Rotondo (2496 m). There are off-piste skiing opportunities in the resort, as well as 2 km of paved cross-country skiing trails.
Gerola Alta has an ice rink, which is open every day during the Christmas holidays, and in winter on Thursday, Saturday and Sunday evenings.

Total length of tracks 9.6 km. The vertical drop is 550 meters. The surface of the tracks is maintained in good condition with the help of snow-sealing equipment. If necessary, the artificial snowmaking system is activated. The slopes are illuminated for evening skiing. Highly professional instructors conduct group and individual lessons for adults and children.
