The Livigno ski resort is located in the Italian region of Alta Valtellina (Lombardia, Valtellina region). For skiing and snowboarding, 115 km of pistes are open, to which 32 lifts lift athletes. The complex for practicing winter sports is located between 1816 and 2798 meters above sea level.

Livigno is the sunniest ski resort in the Alps, it is also called Alpine Tibet for its unique resemblance to the Himalayan plateau. It is located in northern Italy, where it borders Switzerland and is surrounded by the greenery of two national parks – the Italian Stelvio and the Swiss Engadines. Heavy snowfalls throughout the winter are the main reason to go skiing in Livigno. The season lasts much longer here than in other resorts, which is why the Italian national team chose it. Already in October, athletes train here on natural snow. And if there isn’t enough snow, 110 snow cannons will add it.

In addition to a variety of tracks designed for any level of training, Livigno offers to spend time in 4 snowparks, go cross-country skiing on a 30-kilometer track, go on an organized excursion on snowshoes, do biathlon in the new biathlon arena, ride on the snow on a winter bike.

In addition, Livigno is a real paradise for snowboarders, with 200 square kilometers of territory with special zones for beginners. For those who have tried everything, there is heli-skiing.
