The Alpe Teglio – Prato Valentino resort is located in the Italian mountainous region of Valtellina in the Lombardia region (Valtellina regione Lombardia). There are 9 km of slopes for skiing and snowboarding. 2 ski lifts transport skiers. The winter sports complex is located between 1690 and 2340 meters above sea level.
Tello is a small charming town in the Valtellina region. Its landscape features make it part of “the most beautiful villages in Italy” and “CittàSlow” or the Italian network of cities of the good life, and for this reason it is increasingly chosen as a family vacation destination. The geographical position of the resort Alpe di Teglio is such that it forms a terrace overlooking the Orobic Alps, with simple to medium difficulty slopes. The impressive view of Orobi makes the ski slopes very panoramic and pleasant to spend a few hours on the snow in complete tranquility. However, the height difference is decent: 800 meters – from 1700 to 2500 meters. The lifts are open every weekend.
From Prato Valentino, a trail for snowshoes and snowmobiles begins, which leads to Tello: the Verdoman ring is 5 km long, with a height difference of 170 meters, from 1684 to 1854 meters, another circular route with a starting and ending point is longer: 7 km.
In addition to the training area, there is a small 110 meter track, served by a belt lift, for bobsleigh and toboggan use only.

As a rule, the ski season here lasts from early January to mid March.

Total length of tracks 9 km. The vertical drop is 650 meters. The tracks are maintained in good condition by snowmobiles and the efforts of the ski complex workers. If necessary, an artificial snowmaking system is used. The slopes are illuminated, which makes it possible to use them in the evening. There is a training slope for beginner skiers. Both adults and children can learn to ride on it.

On the tops of the slopes, skiers and snowboarders are delivered 3 lifts: 1 chairlift and 1 t-bar lift. There is one children’s lift for beginners and children. The total length of the cable cars is 28 km, which are capable of transporting up to 1900 passengers/hour.
