The Pratospilla resort is located in the Italian province of Parma in the Emilia-Romagna region (provincia Parma regione Emilia-Romagna). There are 10.3 km of trails for skiing and snowboarding. 2 ski lifts transport skiers. The winter sports complex is located between 1360 and 1750 meters above sea level.

At an altitude of 1360 meters, near the Lagastrello pass, in the Parma Apennines, there is the Prato Spiglia ski resort in the municipality of Monchio delle Corti. It is part of the 100 Lakes National Park, an area of ​​unspoiled nature ideal not only for winter but also for summer excursions.

The chairlift takes tourists to an altitude of 1,700 meters, from where a stunning view of the Gulf of La Spezia and the Alps opens; the cable car serves 11 slopes (10 km) for alpine skiing with significant differences in height over the terrain.

For beginners, there are 2 training camps equipped with artificial snowmaking systems with conveyor belts at the start. The main training course is flat, 200 m long and 50 m wide.

Kids can have fun on the snow in a specially designed children’s park with a free 60m moving path.

The snowpark is especially attractive for snowboarders: the Cinghial Propark Snowpark is served by the Biancani lift at altitude, which also has various freeride routes and an Easypark near the second training slope.

Nordic skiing enthusiasts enjoy the 2 km cross-country ski loop equipped with safety nets.

From Prato Spiglia Ski Resort, there are snowshoeing trails in the Cento Laghi Regional Park, so named because it is the kingdom of lakes such as Verde, Ballano, Palo and Squincio.

The resort is popular for ski mountaineering opportunities. Routes are laid in the Parma Apennines, in the Tuscan-Emilian Apennines, between Emilia and Liguria.

All Prato Spilla lifts are open on weekends, and the Rio Spilla training course and chairlift are open on Mondays and Fridays.
