The Gambarie d’Aspromonte resort is located in the Italian province of Reggio Calabria regione Calabria. For skiing and snowboarding there are 6.5 km of trails. 5 lifts transport skiers. The winter sports complex is located between 1350 and 1825 meters above sea level.

Gambari is the most important mountain resort in the province of Reggio Calabria; it is located at 1400 meters above sea level, in the heart of the Aspromontano plateau, at the gates of the national park of the same name, one of the most important protected areas in Italy, both in terms of its expansion and in terms of naturalism, wildlife and landscape. Gambari Ski Resort is the first tourist resort in the south, known for its slopes, facilities, hotels, natural environment and picturesque landscapes.

Two state-of-the-art double chair lifts will take tourists and skiers to the peaks of Monte Cirocco and Monte Nardello. A simple chair lift ride from Piazza Carmelo Mangeruca towards Monte Cirocco is an exciting adventure in itself.

The Gambari ski area develops in the Aspromonte National Park, in pine, spruce and beech forests, offering ski and snowboard lovers about 30 kilometers of prepared slopes of varying difficulty for both beginners and experienced skiers; the slopes are served by four lifts: two chairlifts and two ski lifts.

Gambari also offers a wide range of other winter sports, including scenic skiing trips or interesting snowshoeing walks in the pristine forests of Aspromonte.

Total length of tracks 6.5 km. The vertical drop is 475 meters. The tracks are maintained in good condition by snowmobiles and the efforts of the ski complex workers. The surface of the tracks is kept in perfect condition with the help of an artificial snowmaking system. The tracks have artificial lighting, which makes them accessible in the evenings.
