The Valgrisenche Resort is located in the Italian national park Gran Paradiso in the Valle d’Aosta region (parco Gran Paradiso regione Valle d’Aosta). There are 5 km of trails for skiing and snowboarding. 2 ski lifts transport skiers. The winter sports complex is located between 1664 and 2050 meters above sea level.

Surrounded by the Ruthor, Grand Sassier and Grand Rousse glaciers, Valgrisenche is known as one of the coldest places in the Aosta Valley. The special climate of the winter and spring months means that the snow remains dry here for a long time. This ski resort enjoys a privileged location between glaciers and forests.

Near Valgrisenche, where the resort’s infrastructure is located, at an altitude of 1664 m, there are 5 km of downhill ski slopes, especially suitable for a family clientele. The four-seater chairlift reaches 1,800 meters, and the 2 moving paths in the snowpark climb two slopes for beginners and for those looking for fun sledding, bobsleigh or cheesecake rides. The igloo, bouncy castle and carousel appeal to the little ones, while the older kids enjoy mini ATVs, mini snowmobiles, winter bikes and snowboards.

The Walgriesensch slopes and glaciers are also ideal places for ski mountaineering and heliskiing. The latter has been practiced here for almost thirty years: there are twenty high-altitude landing points, including Becca di Tos, Chateu Blanc, Feluma, Ruthor glacier, Giasson, Ormelun and various descent routes (tel. Heliski +39 349 6649763).

For cross-country skiing, a 7.5 km track has been laid. All tracks are toll.
