The Prato Selva resort is located in the Italian province of Teramo in the Abruzzo region (provincia di Teramo regione Abruzzo). There are 15 km of trails for skiing and snowboarding. 2 ski lifts transport skiers. The winter sports complex is located between 1375 and 1775 meters above sea level.
A small ski resort in the municipality of Fano Adriano in the province of Teramo, Prato Selva is located in the Gran Sasso and Monti della Laga parks. It is located at the foot of Monte Corvo.
Despite its modest size, it offers some of the longest ski runs in the Gran Sasso massif. A chair lift takes you 1,800 meters to Colle Abetone. There are two interesting red runs next to the Ginestra chair lift station, while a moving belt lift serves the lower ski area. 20 km of cross-country trails and a snow park are other offers of the resort.
Prato Selva hosts the great Ippovia del Gran Sasso, a circular route that can be traversed not only on horseback, but also on foot or by mountain bike, its length is more than 300 kilometers, and all this is located inside the Gran National Park. Sasso and Monti della Laga.
Nearby is the famous Prati di Tivo, where you can go for off-piste skiing and ski mountaineering.
