Prati di Tivo

The Prati di Tivo resort is located in the Italian province of Teramo in the Abruzzo region (Provincia di Teramo regione Abruzzo). For skiing and snowboarding, 7.5 km of trails are laid here. 3 lifts transport skiers to them. The winter sports complex is located between 1395 and 2028 meters above sea level.

The charming mountain resort of Prati di Tivo is located in the Gran Sasso and Monti della Laga National Park, in the municipality of Pietracamela, at the foot of the mountain known as the Sleeping Giant.

Prati di Tivo became a real tourist resort, ready to receive many visitors around the 70s thanks to the construction of modern and comfortable hotels. The hotels have arisen primarily due to the presence of ski lifts, which in winter attracted numerous visitors to the Teramo mountain resort, and in summer those enthusiasts who wanted to climb the Douai Roots.

Today, as then, Prati di Tivo is popular both in summer and winter; the visitor is offered many attractions, primarily unforgettable mountain landscapes that can be contemplated during classes, ranging from skiing to extreme mountaineering, as well as environmental education, hiking, trekking, Nordic walking, orienteering, skiing bicycles in the bike park and spending time in the adventure park.
