Passolanciano Resort is located in the Italian province of Chieti in the Abruzzo region (provincia di Chieti regione Abruzzo). There are 5.5 km of trails for skiing and snowboarding. 3 lifts transport skiers. The winter sports complex is located between 1300 and 1650 meters above sea level.
The two settlements Passo Lanciano and Majelletta are located in one of the few places suitable for skiing on the impassable Majella massifs (2798 meters). A wide range of slopes – from the slopes to the Adriatic Sea, the width of the slopes and good snow cover – these are the main characteristics of the ski resort.
The ski area is divided very close in these two resorts, but the connection is still by ski bus and snow taxi. The Majelletta ski resort extends to an altitude of 2000 meters and offers 6 lifts and a ski lift for skiing interesting, albeit fairly short, slopes. The lifts start from Passo Tettone (1,650 meters), where there are also two cross-country skiing trails of 5 km. The Pomilio Shelter area has an equipped snow park, a training slope, bobsleigh and tubing tracks, many off-piste areas and various ski mountaineering routes.
Below, at an altitude of 1350 meters, there is the Passo Lanciano station with a three-seater chairlift, 2 tows and 2 conveyor belts. Alpine skiing trails descend into a beech forest with a total length of 6150 km. There is also a snow park, a training slope, a kindergarten in the snow and the 5 km Piane di Tarica cross-country ski trail.

Total length of tracks 5.5 km. The vertical drop is 350 meters. The surface of the slopes is maintained in good condition with the help of snow compacting equipment. If necessary, an artificial snowmaking system is used. The tracks have artificial lighting, which makes them accessible in the evenings. Highly professional instructors conduct group and individual lessons for adults and children.

On the tops of the slopes, skiers and snowboarders are delivered 4 cable cars: 1 chairlift and 2 t-bar lift. There is one children’s lift for beginners and children. The total length of the cable cars is 21 km, which are capable of transporting up to 3420 passengers/hour.
