San Giacomo – Monte Piselli is a ski resort in the province of Teramo, from which it is located 36 km and only 20 km from the city of Ascoli Piceno. 2 lifts serve the ski slopes on the northern side of Montaña dei Fiori, in the Gran Sasso and Monti della Laga National Park.
There are 5 runs: 3 “red”, one “black” and a training slope. The longest track is the very straight “red” track A, 2265 meters long. Unfortunately, the two-seater chairlift, which replaces the old gondola, departs from an intermediate station and not from San Giacomo, reducing the original length of the slopes. A belt lift near the former cable car leads to the training slope.
The village of San Giacomo is located at an altitude of 1110 m, where the main infrastructure for tourist accommodation is located. At an altitude of 1426 m, the ski resort itself is located, reaching a height of 1643 m, which can be reached via a dirt road.
