Campo Felice – Rocca di Cambio Resort is located in Italy, the province of L’Aguilla in the Abruzzo region (Provincia dell’Aquila regione Abruzzo). For skiing and snowboarding, 36.5 km of trails are laid here. 12 lifts transport skiers to them. The winter sports complex is located between 1411 and 1916 meters above sea level.
Campo Felice is located in the heart of the Apennines, in the municipality of Rocca di Cambio, which is located in the mountainous province of Aquila, 90 km from Rome. The city of the same name is located in a gorge surrounded by mountain peaks over two thousand meters high and covered with snow throughout the winter season. The ski area offers 30 km of slopes of varying difficulty with elevation differences exceeding 600 meters.
The geographical location of this area allows for winter sports even in foggy conditions, since all slopes converge on a large plateau. An automated artificial snowmaking system can cover more than 12 km of slopes with snow.
And from the top of Monte Rotondo, another well-groomed ancient hill with a rich history, you can admire the peaks of the Apennines Gran Sasso, Sirente, Velino and Maiella.
Rocca di Cambio, the closest small mountain town to the resort, is located in the northern part of Altopiano delle Roche, in the Sirente Velino Regional Park and about 25 km from the central city of this entire area of L’Aquila. Rocca di Cambio is the highest city in the Apennines, its height is 1434 meters. He deserves to be known for his customs, history, traditions and unmistakable taste of the cuisine.

Total length of tracks 30.9 km. The vertical drop is 505 meters. The tracks are maintained in good condition by snowmobiles and the efforts of the ski complex workers. The surface of the tracks is kept in perfect condition with the help of an artificial snowmaking system. In total, the resort has 380 snow cannons that cover 77% of the slopes. Some of the slopes are illuminated for evening skiing. Insecure beginners will be assisted by instructors, and at the rental point you can take everything you need for a comfortable ride.
