The ski resort Silvretta Montafon is located in Austria, Montafon, Vorarlberg, Bludenz – Montafon, Forarlsberg, Bludenz. For skiing and snowboarding, 140 km of trails are laid here. 34 lifts transport skiers. The winter sports area is located at an altitude of 700 to 2430 meters above sea level.

The ski resort offers endless kilometers of slopes of any difficulty level and excellent comfortable conditions, which is a prerequisite for an unforgettable vacation. Constant renovations and new facilities such as the Panoramabahn, which has been in operation since the 2014/15 season, further enhance comfort.

At an altitude of 2430 m above sea level, from the beginning of winter to late spring, ideal conditions are created for practicing all winter sports. Aside from safety, Montafon has the advantage of being very easy to get to. It also hosts countless events such as the FIS Snowboard Cross World Championship and famous celebrity concerts to kick off the season.

Total length of tracks 118 km. The vertical drop is 1730 meters. The surface of the slopes is maintained in excellent condition with the help of snow-compacting equipment. The resort has snow cannons. In total, the resort has 610 snow cannons that cover 66% of the slopes. Artificial lighting is provided on the slopes, which allows you to ride and train comfortably in the evening. For beginners, training in skiing and snowboarding with professional instructors is organized.

The Silvretta Montafon ski area offers the perfect mix of slopes of all difficulty levels: technical slopes, large freeride areas and less steep slopes. The trails here mainly start on slopes devoid of vegetation. Then, as they descend into the valley, they traverse forests or pass large mountain pastures. The two sectors of the ski resorts Hochjoch and Nova are connected by the Grasjoch gondola lift.

The slopes of the resort serve 36 lifts: 2 aerial tramway, 8 gondola lift, 18 chairlift and 5 t-bar lift. There are 3 children’s lifts for beginners and children. The total length of the cable cars is 418 km, which are capable of transporting up to 64282 passengers/hour.

Silvretta Montafon is equipped with modern lifts. From the valley there are gondola lifts that take skiers to almost all parts of the ski area. Panoramabahn, an eight-person gondola lift with heated seats and W-LAN, has been operating in the Hochjoch ski area since winter 2014/15. The ascent to the most popular trails is provided by an eight-person chair lift with protective domes and other chair lifts. In part of the Nova ski area, there are mainly modern chairlifts, partially equipped with protective domes and heated seats. The modernization of the old lifts is planned.
