The Lermoos – Grubigstein resort is located on the territory of the Tyroler Zugspitz Arena – Tiroler Zugspitz Arena, Tirolo, Ausserfern. There are 29 km of trails for skiing and snowboarding. 8 lifts transport skiers. The winter sports area is located at an altitude of 1004 to 2100 meters above sea level.

On the Tyroller-Zugspitzarena plateau, at an altitude of 1000 m, there is Lermoos – a small pretty town on the border of Austria and Germany. Half of the year it is a popular ski resort, and in the other half of the year it is just a heavenly, unrealistically beautiful place in the mountains.

Sporty families, station wagons, snowboarders, freeriders and downhill skiers circulate in the Lermoos/Grubigstein ski area. The ski resort is also very popular with day-trippers coming from the area.

The largest ski area, Grubigstein, is located right next to Lermoos. Those who have found a place to live on the slope of the mountain can drive up to the house directly on skis, especially since the roll-out zone stretches for hundreds of meters, almost the entire width of the town. The entire ski area is located on a slope facing directly into the valley, offering a breathtaking view of the Zugspitze.

For beginners, a special training slope is equipped – smooth and wide.

There are slopes of all levels of difficulty, length and relief, with a predominance of “blue” and “red” slopes. Most of the trails, mostly in the middle, are laid in the forest. The uppermost ones diverge in different directions in the treeless. Also, wide treeless areas are found below, where inexperienced skiers try their seeds.
