The Wildkogel – Neukirchen/Bramberg resort is located in Austria, Salzburg, in the Pinzgau area and in the Zell am See area – Pinzgau and Zell am See, Salisburghese, Austria. There are 77 km of ski slopes for skiing and snowboarding. 19 lifts transport skiers. The winter sports area is located at an altitude of 820 to 2150 meters above sea level.

Wildkogel Arena is located in the heart of the Alps and offers a dream vacation for families, skiers, snowboarders, winter tourists and all sun worshipers. With the powerful six-seater gondola lift in Neukirchen and the new eight-seater gondola lift Smaragd in Bramberg, you can comfortably reach the ski area at 2,100 meters. Both beginners and advanced skiers will feel at home on slopes suited to their level of skiing. From the start of the trails, there are grandiose views of the three thousandth peaks of Hohe Tauern and the highest mountain in Salzburger, Großvenediger (3674 m). A large park opens its doors to welcome guests.

Total length of tracks 75 km. The vertical drop is 1330 meters. The surface of most of the slopes of the ski complex is maintained in perfect condition with the help of snow-sealing equipment. The resort has a snowmaking system. In total, the resort has 260 snow cannons that cover 80% of the tracks. In the dark, the tracks are illuminated by powerful floodlights, so you can ride almost until late at night. A training slope is designed for beginner skiers.

Wildkogel offers tracks of all difficulty levels. Most of the ski area sits above the tree line and offers many options for skiing in fresh snow. The slopes on the south side lead to the intermediate stations of the cable cars or the Hanseralm chairlift. The offer of trails is complemented by slopes below, which end in the valley, but only the ski area in Bramberg is directly connected to the lifts.

The longest trail: descent to the Bramberga valley number 14, length 14 km, vertical drop 1282.

The most interesting tracks:

Vacationers are taken to the top 24 lifts: 5 gondola lift, 4 chairlift and 5 t-bar lift. There are 10 children’s lifts for beginners and children. The total length of the cable cars is 171 km, which are capable of transporting up to 27418 passengers/hour.

The gondola lifts leading to the Wildkogel ski area leave from the villages of Neukirchen and Bramberg. From Neuriken there are 6-seat gondolas, and from Bramberg, since the winter of 2010/2011, the ultra-modern 8-seat Smaragd has been operating. They both have intermediate stations. In the ski area itself, most of the slopes are served by chairlifts. Since the fall of 2012/2013, the Frühmesser skylift has ceased to work, and in its place is now a modern six-seater chairlift with yellow protective domes. Beginners can use the children’s lifts and moving walkways, which can be easily reached from the gondola mountain stations. In the winter of 2013/2014, three new training lifts were commissioned.
