The Radstadt/Altenmarkt resort is located in the Austrian tourist region of Sportwelt, which in turn is part of the huge Ski Amade resort network – Radstadt, Austria, Salisburghese, Pongau, Salzburger Sportwelt. There are 17 km of trails for skiing and snowboarding. 8 lifts transport skiers. The winter sports zone is located at an altitude of 850 to 1571 m above sea level.

As mentioned above, Radstadt/Altenmarkt is part of the Sportwelt Salzburg, which is part of one of the largest ski regions in one of the largest regions in the world, Amad. From it you can get access to this area with a shared ski pass, a unified system of the most modern lifts and a free ski bus. There are 760 km of pistes and 270 ski lifts in the Amadé region!

Altenmarkt itself, together with the neighboring village of Ranstadt, form a cozy ski area with gentle slopes. A favorite resort for families and beginners alike, it has 18 km of pistes for a wonderful day of skiing. It is an idyll among gentle, ideal snow slopes! FIS treadmills for professionals are well equipped. There are fan parks and attractions for children.

Total length of tracks 17 km. The vertical drop is 721 meters. The preparation of the tracks is carried out with the help of special snow groomers of snow groomers. The resort has snow cannons. In total, the resort has 60 snow cannons that cover 100% of the tracks. The tracks are illuminated, which makes it possible to use them in the evening. Insecure beginners will be assisted by instructors, and at the rental point you can take everything you need for a comfortable ride.

The slopes of the resort are mainly intended for calm relaxing skiing, its slopes are marked with “blue” and “red”, very little “black”. The slopes are very wide and are great for carving. Funslope Königslehen, Beginner Park Kemahdhöhe and Fichtelland Hochbifang, including the Fichtelwald Adventure Forest and Kidsrun, offer a variety of activities for the whole family.

The longest track here is 4 km long and has a vertical drop of 686 m.

There is a snow park/funpark, sledding, snowboarding and tobogganing on the illuminated track, and race tracks with time counting are open to everyone – free of charge.

The slopes of the resort serve 10 lifts: 3 gondola lift, 2 chairlift and 3 t-bar lift. There are 2 children’s lifts for beginners and children. The total length of the cable cars is 85 km, which are capable of transporting up to 12872 passengers/hour.

The lifts in the Radstadt-Altenmarkt ski area are among the most modern in Austria. Since the opening of the 10-person Hochbifangbahn lift in 2011/2012, the ski resort has been home to one of the longest gondola lifts in the Ski Amadé area. The lift goes from Altenmarkt to Kehmahdhöhe. The 8-person Königslehenbahn gondola also takes skiers to Kehmahdhöhe from Radstadt via an intermediate station. With two other chairlifts for 4 people (one with protective domes), a total of four lifts converge on Kemahdhöhe. There are also ski lifts for beginners. Ski schools have moving tracks.
