The Turracher Höhe resort is located in Austria, in the Nockeberg resort region of Carinthia, Upper Carinthia, Feldkirchen – Nockeberge, Carinzia, Alta Carinzia, Feldkirchen, Austria. There are 42 km of trails for skiing and snowboarding. 14 lifts transport skiers. The winter sports zone is located at an altitude of 1400-2205 meters above sea level.

Turracher Höhe is located on the border between Styria and Carinthia at an altitude of 1763 m. From the Turracher See lake ski lifts take skiers to the surrounding mountains. The ski butler (Turracher Pistenbutler) is a feature and advantage among the services offered by the resort. It is present every day on the slopes, offering free Prosecco champagne, which you can then sip on the free sun loungers available in the ski area. The butler usually offers the children sweets.

The resort’s other offers include a gorgeous illuminated night ski trail and a large snow park/fun park.

Total length of tracks 42 km. The vertical drop is 805 meters. The surface of the slopes is maintained in a consistently good condition with the help of snow compacting equipment. Snow cannons turn on if necessary. In total, the resort has 320 snow cannons that cover 100% of the tracks. Some of the slopes are illuminated for evening skiing. For beginners and children, there is a special training track equipped with a separate baby lift.

Slopes of any difficulty level offer ideal conditions for both beginners and advanced skiers. Turracher Höhenrunde (Tour of Turracher Höhe) is the best way to discover the entire ski area in the most pleasant way. In scenic locations, guests of the resort can use the free sun loungers to relax while enjoying the sun. Except for the Kornock ski area, all slopes are very wide and lead down through the forest.

Longest piste: FIS piste, 3 km long, 500 m vertical drop.

The most difficult trail: Direttissima, length 0.6 km, height difference 200 m.

The slopes of the resort serve 18 cable cars: 1 gondola lift, 5 chairlift and 7 t-bar lift. There are 5 children’s lifts for beginners and children. The total length of the cable cars is 97 km, which are capable of transporting up to 18202 passengers/hour.

Almost all ski slopes can be climbed on modern chair lifts, most of them equipped with protective domes and heated seats. The “Seetaxi” (lake taxi) serves as a connecting link for crossing the frozen lake. The lifts are designed for beginners or serve as connecting lifts within the ski area.
