The Nassfeld – Hermagor resort is located in the Nassfeld-Pressegger-See region, Austria, Carinthia – Nassfeld-Pressegger-See, Austria, Carinzia. 110 km of trails are laid for skiing and snowboarding. 30 lifts transport skiers. The winter sports area is located at an altitude of 600 to 2002 meters above sea level.
Nassfeld is one of the largest ski resorts in Carinthia, it is located near the border with Italy. Both experienced skiers and beginners who decide to start skiing for the first time will feel equally comfortable here. At the top of the resort there is an observation deck offering breathtaking views of the mountain valley.
Unlike other Austrian holiday destinations, Nassfeld is not a settlement. This is a built ski resort on a mountain pass. The resort is surrounded by the highest mountains of the Alps: Gartnerkofel, Trogkofel and Rosskofel.
Neighborhood with Italy also influenced the microclimate in Nassfeld: there is little snow here, skiing on the main tracks is possible only thanks to the artificial snowmaking system. It is sunny here, frosts are rare, and the ski season opens only in early December and ends in mid-March.

Total length of tracks 110 km. The vertical drop is 1402 meters. The preparation of the slopes is carried out with the help of special snow groomers of snow groomers. There is a system of artificial snowmaking. In total, the resort has 420 snow cannons that cover 100% of the slopes. In the dark, the area and ski tracks are illuminated. Highly professional instructors conduct group and individual lessons for adults and children.
In Nassfeld there are slopes of all levels of difficulty, mostly “red” ones for confident skiers. The slopes are generally very wide and well prepared. The Garnitzenberg trails run along almost treeless slopes, while the trails to Trögl Skiplatz, Tressdorfer Alm and Sonnleitn pass through the forest before ending in the valley. At Trogøe (2020 m), the trails pass through majestic cliffs and descend to Rastl. The 7.6 km Karnia descent leads through the forest to Trepolach, especially in Nassfeld, there is plenty of space for freeriding and off-piste skiing.
The longest run: Carnia, 7.6 km long, 1212 m vertical drop.
The most difficult track: Trogkofel, 2 km long, 600 m vertical drop.

Visitors are lifted up 30 lifts: 5 gondola lift, 9 chairlift and 10 t-bar lift. There are 6 children’s lifts for beginners and children. The total length of the cable cars is 252 km, which are capable of transporting up to 49386 passengers/hour.
In Nassfeld, almost all slopes can be reached by modern chair lifts and gondolas. There are many ski lifts and belt lifts. They are mainly intended for beginners and are located low on the slopes. There is a six-seater chairlift with heated seats. From the valley, Nassfeld can be quickly reached by a three-section Millennium Express.
