The winter sports area is located at an altitude of 600 to 2002 meters above sea level.

Nassfeld is one of the largest ski resorts in Carinthia, it is located near the border with Italy. Both experienced skiers and beginners who decide to start skiing for the first time will feel equally comfortable here. At the top of the resort there is an observation deck offering breathtaking views of the mountain valley.

Unlike other Austrian holiday destinations, Nassfeld is not a settlement. This is a built ski resort on a mountain pass. The resort is surrounded by the highest mountains of the Alps: Gartnerkofel, Trogkofel and Rosskofel.

Neighborhood with Italy also influenced the microclimate in Nassfeld: there is little snow here, skiing on the main tracks is possible only thanks to the artificial snowmaking system. It is sunny here, frosts are rare, and the ski season opens only in early December and ends in mid-March.

Throughout the winter season, Nassfeld offers very lucrative special offers and packages that are advertised as “Nice Surprise”.
