How to get to the Hatsvali (Mestia)
By plane
Tbilisi – Mestia: the plane flies from the capital 4 times a week. It departs from Natakhtari airport, near Tbilisi. The cost of a plane ticket to Mestia is 65 GEL (in one direction).
Natakhtari – Mestia: Monday, Wednesday, Friday departure at 09:30, Sunday at 13:00.
Mestia – Natakhtari: Monday, Friday at 15:30, Wednesday at 11:30, Sunday at 15:00.
Since the resort is located in a remote region of Georgia, visitors often first get to the city of Zugdidi, located 130 km from Mestia. Communication with him is very well developed. Then you can get from Zugdidi to the resort by minibus or taxi.

By bus
Minibuses depart from the airports of Tbilisi, Batumi and Kutaisi to Mestia. Their schedule is coordinated with the flight times.
In Zugdidi, at the bus station next to the Svan tower, all buses to Mestia stop until noon. You can also hire a taxi here.
By car
By car, you can get to Svaneti by 2 roads: on a good asphalt-concrete road from Zugdidi (passable at any time of the year by a regular car), and on a dirt road through Tsageri, Lentekhi and Ushguli – on it you can only drive on jeep, and only in summer.
The car can be taken both at the airport upon arrival, and in any of the major Georgian cities. For a full-fledged road trip in Svaneti, it is better to take an SUV.
