From the bus station Didube, located at the metro station of the same name, minibuses to Bakuriani from December to March run every hour from 8:00 to 17:00, in other months at 9:30, 13:00, 15:00, 16:00.
From the Kutaisi bus station there are also minibuses to Bakuriani, travel time 2.5 – 3 hours.
By car
There is only one international checkpoint between Russia and Georgia – this is the Verkhniy Lars checkpoint in South Ossetia. Distance from it to Bakuriani resort is 294 km.
This is not a lot and not a little, given that in winter you can get stuck at the border for a long time due to heavy snowfalls. The benefits of driving your own car are also considerable; it means independence from public transport and the ability to visit many places.
By taxi
From Tbilisi and Kutaisi airports, you can take a taxi directly to the resort.
Using the GoTrip service, you can book a taxi in advance by choosing a car brand and offered prices. It is especially convenient for those who travel with family or on a campaign.
